Download / Install

The public entry is product onboarding, not source install.

The Nunchi product family opens in stages. Engram is not a public source-install runtime; it is the private premium execution client for Nunchi Memory and Circuit. Binaries are provided through signed private previews or inside Nunchi Memory Local / Circuit packages.

Status

Engram private preview

The Engram repository and core runtime source are not publicly distributed. Beta users validate the signed package through the bundled Engram binary, doctor, version, and memory surfaces.

Private macOS binary

The macOS arm64 binary is included inside Nunchi Memory Local private beta artifacts and Circuit worker packages. Public GitHub Release assets are not the default distribution path.

private tester / coming soon

Nunchi Memory Local

The free local product opens as a macOS Apple Silicon package that bundles the Nunchi Memory Local app, local Nexus MCP, local Human Memory/Agent Memory storage, and Engram integration. The private beta artifact is signed, notarized, and smoke-tested on macmini-2; public availability waits for release approval.

design partner demo

Circuit

Circuit is an enterprise workflow with a customer-local worker and Slack loop. It starts through a design partner demo, not a self-serve download.

Public policy boundary

Start free locally. Turning it into a cloud service is a separate license boundary.

Free personal use

Personal Local starts free for personal local use. Local execution does not require account creation or local license activation.

No cloud redistribution

Providing Engram, Personal Local, or substantially the same functionality to third parties as SaaS, PaaS, managed service, cloud service, or outsourced agent runtime requires a separate commercial license.

Four-year change license

Official Engram runtime artifacts use BUSL-1.1 and change to Apache-2.0 on 2030-05-08 or four years after the first public distribution of the relevant version, whichever comes first.

Local data/model responsibility

Local databases, captured files, model downloads, API keys, backups, disk encryption, and third-party model/provider terms remain the user’s responsibility. Model weights are not bundled.
